Facility Purpose Statement

The facility of Salt Church is a gift of God’s benevolence and the sacrificial generosity of Salt Church members. All of our church property is consecrated and set apart to worship God (Col. 3:17), and, therefore, is to be used to glorify God and edify the Body of Christ. The facility of Salt Church may not be used in ways that contradict, or are inconsistent with, our church’s beliefs, as summarized on our website. This restricted use policy is necessary for two reasons:
First, we (the people of Salt Church) cannot in good conscience materially cooperate in activities or promote beliefs that are contrary to our faith (2 Cor. 6:14 ; 1 Thes. 5:22). Second, we (the people of Salt Church) must present a consistent public witness to the community through the stewardship of our property.

Allowing our facilities to be used in ways that are contrary to our faith would have a severe, negative impact on the message our church strives to promote and could cause confusion for our church members and the community. Therefore, only events and users that do not contradict our beliefs, as determined by staff/pastors shall be permitted.
